Harris Teeter Job Descriptions

Cashier: Harris Teeter cashiers accurately and efficiently finalize all sales transactions in the store. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean working environment, providing friendly customer service, and maintaining control of all funds in the register.

Customer Service Clerk: Customer service clerks at Harris Teeter serve customers at the counter and the front-end of the store. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and training all employees on the importance of providing great customer service.

Grocery Clerk: Harris Teeter grocery clerks ensure that the grocery department is always clean and well-stocked. Unloading trucks, reloading the salvage truck, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store are all key responsibilities of the grocery clerk position.
