Publix Job Descriptions

Cashier: Publix cashiers are responsible for greeting and assisting all customers in Publix stores. They also weigh, scan and package groceries, maintain a clean working area, and accurately check out all guests.

Stock Clerk: Stock clerks at Publix unload trucks, keep the back room organized, sweep and mop the floors, and stock the shelves. They are also responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting store guests.

Product Demonstrator: Publix product demonstrators promote sales of products by preparing and serving product samples. Additional responsibilities for this position include using cooking tools, maintaining a welcoming shopping environment, and answering customer questions.

Bagger: Baggers at Publix bag groceries and take them to the customers cars. They are also responsible for retrieving carts from the parking lot and maintaining a clean store.
